Chair Yoga is Real Yoga with Jivana Heyman
Integrating Chairs into Your Classes
In this webinar, Jivana Heyman, founder of Accessible Yoga, explores how you can make your classes more accessible and appropriate for all your students by learning how to teach chair yoga and integrate chair practices in your mat classes.
What You’ll Learn
Chair yoga opens up the practice to a huge portion of the population who may not feel comfortable or welcome in a traditional yoga class. It can help foster the same physical—as well as emotional, mental, and spiritual—benefits as practicing yoga on a mat.
Common questions:
- Is chair yoga real yoga?
- How can I safely teach chair yoga?
- How can I integrate chair yoga students into my mat yoga classes?
Jivana addresses the questions above as well as the fundamentals of chair yoga, how to keep students safe, and how to teach integrated chair and mat classes.
Watch the webinar to learn how to begin, enhance, and grow your Accessible Yoga toolkit using a chair.
